After this, I get my dir***er wraiths, my mortivores if I got some hits from the dry spell(s), and sit back into pestilence/Urza's armor/magebane armor and laugh.

A cruel, dark laugh.

A nice card. Solid.

Stupid fish, deserts are for cacti! This is a nice mini-Pestilence, and at 1Black, the price is right! Compare to Psychotic Haze. PH has amazing art, though. This can take out most or all of the pesty little creatures attacking you, and let your fatties roam unimpeded. Not a bad value.

I prefer Breath of Darigaaz with the same base CMC, but with a kicker for 4 damage to everything instead of 1.
