Note how the card art shows a rather arid area. That's cause the real-world Badlands are arid. Not the only one of the original Duels that has a mis-match between it's basic land types and the sort of land it's name denotes (Taiga, for instance, is swampy forest).

I'm just confused when I look to buy them some people want crazy amounts and some want a buck, y'kno?
so to me I wonder if they're for real or scammin some how... just me

I had someone get me before with a bootleg from online
