Simply an amazing card. A must have for any deck that can run it, and better than any Mox in my opinion.

Megrimage knows the combo.

I got mine about 5 or 6 years ago when my grandfather bought me a box of, "Those cards I like to play" from an auction for dirt cheap. It had some other great stuff in it to, like a Grindstone. :)

BTW: Anyone know why Mark Tedin (great artist) thinks that mana looks like raw hamburger?

Meet the card we all treasure. This card is so well-loved, it's been made legal in Commander despite being banned in Legacy. (Normally, cards banned in Legacy are banned in Commander; this is one of a few exceptions.)

I think every Vintage player owns one of these. Crypt is a must have for Mishra's Workshop decks, because Mana Crypt + land = first-turn Metalworker. This card sees more T1 play than Mox Ruby and Mox Pearl.

The best coin-flip card, the best promo card, and, arguably, the best mana artifact.
Yeah, I'd prefer to draw this than Black Lotus. YOU WANNA FIGHT ABOUT IT?

Who would rate this below a 5/5. Not only is it better than a mox, but the walls of the crypt look bouncy.

This is an insanely good bargain of a card for Vintage Power-
you can get one on eBay for ~$50 right now.

It can add some round-1 power to any Vintage deck,
and if you thought Sol Ring made a great Tinker target,
meet an even better one.

PS- I sprang for the Promo Foil, and OMG, it is gorgeous.

I love how this thing can net you such a ridiculous amount of mana on turn one, far beyond the scope of any Mox, and yet it goes for roughly a third the price of any of the Moxen. I guess the name stops people from realizing that this is the sixth Mox.

When I was younger, the Moxen were the "ultimate cards I will have to buy someday". Now that I've played a while it's this guy and a Moat.
