Instant speed cascade is very important for combo decks to work around control. Sometimes after you pass the turn, your opponent will try to sneek in a Thirst for Knowledge or similar. That's when you can respond with this for your combo victory. This is a great great card.

One thing to point out here is that this cascade spell is an instant. You are pretty much giving your one and two drop permanents the chance to flash in.

I wish this gave the creatures haste as well. That would be boss.
@Selite
Yes, if you cascade into a creature with this it gets the power boost as well, since this spell resolves after the creature.

3 cost instant cascade, who cares what the rest does? Never underestimate cascade, even as a non-fully abused card you can set this up to be "add in a doom blade/lightning bolt/shock" while giving your creatures a boost.
But for full abuse Living End
Do nothing but cycle/evoke/sac creatures, filing thy graveyard. Hit this combo up, throw all the creatures back in play & if you have a hasted creature, give them a battle cry as well.

The expression on the center homunculus' face is chilling, couldn't have been done better. Props to the artist.
Also, this is my favorite of the 3 mana cascade spells as it provides a not terrible effect on its own and, most importantly, is instant speed.

I love how it's the homunculi who are revolting

There are only (as of now) 12 cards that have the Casade effect. It's a hugh effect, as in pretty powerful. 2 of which cost more than 6. 5/5 Wurm for 6 (Enlisted Wurm) I don't think is bad, and I get a free spell with it. As for the RG ratio, there is (again) only 12 cards to work with. None of which being Mono, 1 Tri (Enigma Sphinx), and 1 Penta (Maelstrom Nexus), leaving 10 Bi-color cards. 2 in each circular direction of magic.

Say you used this spell to get a 2 drop creature out, would that creature also benefit from the +1/0?

The art work and flavor of this card are defenitely good but the problem this card and other cascade cards is that there just aren't enough of them to be effective. For example if I wanted to play a cascade deck with only red and green as my colors I can't because only two red/green cascade exist. Wizards should have designed more cascade cards in the Reborn set so that there could have been a various number of different decks that can play the mechanic.
