Great Red card. The fact that you don't have to sacrifice the elements that she makes, makes up for her low toughness.

I run her in a blue/red token/control deck and used to have Loxodon Warhammer for support. After Scars of Mirrodin came out I tried Grafted Exoskeleton in place of the Warhammer. HAHAHAHAHA!! 5/3 Haste Infect for 3... So so mean. If nothing else she certainly does force your opponent to deal with her, which is always good.

Rakka mar is actually a very decent card, she's only slightly weaker than creakwood liege, in that both are 4 mana 2/2 creatures who produce 3 attack power tokens. The only downside to rakka being she needs 1 of r type mana to do this every turn compared to creakwood's at upkeep. On the plus side, she can do this the turn she comes into play (enabling you to keep a 3/1 blocker if she gets removed, or attack with that token immediately), and her tokens have haste, something creakwood liege does not have. She's very good for devour decks and token decks, or black/red with bitterblossoms. Her seeming protege jund battlemage can produce saprolings for 1 g type mana, so its easy to see how you could pair the two together to get a 1/1 saproling and a 3/1 elemental once per turn for 2 mana.
Also, a surprisingly decent electropotence strategy, basically just don't pay the electropotence cost until rakka hits play, then start pumping out 3/1's that do a lightning bolt every turn for 3 ma... (see all)

Im planning to build a mono red deck soon, and I have a friend who has one of these. The only thing I would like to see though, is the token having trample as well.

Fits in well with the ol' green/red pandemonium and primal forcemage combo.

I Got Her in Jund and she works well with the devour strategy putting out devour chow that combos with Kresh the Bloodbraided's ability adding 3 +1/+1 counters a pop.

Non-trampling, non-self-sacrificing Hellspark Elementals for R every turn? cool
