The "is not blocked" clause holds it back, but at least its a deterrent for attackers. And it can be gravedigger back and whatnot. 3.5/5

As for the art, its very dark and solid. The card feels like an assassin thrull, 4.5/5

Back in the day among my circle of friends, Ron Spencer was one of our favorite artists, especially his black and red cards. Along with the immortal Richard Kane Ferguson, we loved opening any pack with one of his cards, good or not. I think this was a slightly above average card for its time. Several thrulls had abilities that activated when not blocked, so one of them was bound to get through and do some damage. A pretty unreliable form of removal, but definitely fun in a thrull deck.
