Really not a big fan of Drew Tucker's art. Maybe cool for some people though.

It hits any creature, which is a rarity among black cards. It forces your opponent to leave something back to block, and if you can remove that, then this guy can get in and take out whatever big black creature they have. It's also a 2/2 for 3, which, while not outstanding, is still kinda OK.

I like this art. We don't get ANY interesting art anymore. We get good art, just not much wacky stuff like this.

Drew Tucker is pretty cool. I don't see him doing any cards today, but Drew and artists like him did a lot to make Magic flavorful before the story lines were so prevalent.

You will most likely never see thrulls like these in the light of day. With the budget crap cards i made in a black deck, it was going fine until i changed it around and added these stupid thrulls that have an effect if not blocked and sacrificed. It failed miserably.
Necrite is pretty bad, and should deserve even less stars. I would give it a 1.5 for effect but the rest is just crap, except weird art, gotta love the nostalgia factor.
3 mana for 2/2 ain't helping either.

It's a creepy zombie/construct assassin, and we get a paper-mache love scene?
The Tuck sucks.

Drew Tucker is a badass! Returned in Time Spiral block and a litte in Lorwyn (Curse of Chains, Deathbringer Liege, Eternity Snare, Viscid Lemures)! While I don't love abstract paints, I absolutely love watercolor, so I think Drew is outstanding for being an artist that uses a technic not seen everyday in a Magic card, resulting in a crearly distinguible sign among a hundred of other artist that looks similar each others!
I'd like to see more Drew Tucker arts in the future (and Richard Kane Ferguson, too)
