This card is good for what it does, and not much else unless you have Sakura-Tribe Elder or cards similar. Get's land out for cheap, and I keep at least one in any Forest deck I play. Yeah, it's a good card nonetheless.

Since they apparently wanted M10 to only have cards with rather generic names, they would have been forced to create a duplicate of the Sakura-Tribe Elder, maybe therefore they instead just decided to reprint that oldschool Sorcery.

can rampant growth be used to put a land on your opponents battlefield for the effect of forest-walk or of the like
