I got this card out of my first booster pack. (10th Edition.) It and Siege-Gang Commander prompted me onto making a Goblin/Zombie Deck (Zoblins if you will.)
I was expecting him to come back in M12, I think he would work nice with Bloodthirst.

Millions of better one-drop goblins out there (Goblin Bushwhacker, Goblin Guide, Goblin Lackey, Goblin Welder, Legion Loyalist, and Mogg Fanatic, to name a few), but this will always remain my favourite one-drop goblin. It represents everything the goblin tribal is about; small, speedy, and stupid.

First strike can be considered a red ability that could always be placed on a 1/1 red creature. Other than that I'm not sure what other abilities could be legitimate for a 1/1 (perhaps wizards should think about making new abilities in the next base set).

good if you draw him in your opening hand, but not so much later in the game. Why I like having Chandra Ablaze in my monored deck, she can turn a whimpy 1/1 goblin that I drew late game in to 4 damage

Raging Goblin needs some Powerthirst so when Mother Nature tells him to Sloooooow dooooown, he can say
"FUCK YOU!" and kick her in the face with his ENERGY LEGS!!!!!
I gave this card a 5, but mostly I just raged.

Solid. Never hurts to start the game with a 1/1 in your face, right away.
3.5/5
