This seems just about perfect to use with the old-school angel Seraph. Use this with Quest for the Holy Relic, and you can ignore this card's prohibitive costs.
EDIT: Though you'd need a Magebane Armor or something to capture most utility creatures. Which is not so bad, since you'd want to protect her anyways.

I've had so much trouble over the years trying to teach former YuGiOh players that creatures don't attack other creatures.. Heck, even some people who haven't played card games before have trouble accepting that rule.

Really nice card design, but unfortunately a bit expensive cost, i'd have either liked a cheaper casting or equip cost.
Provoke as a keyword wouldn't fit that nicely in this block, yet the fact that you aren't able to untap targeted creatures is a great disadvantage which restricts the fun with that card.
I guess i'll prefer using Fireshrieker in general. On the other hand this is a great card when used with Stoneheaver Giant since it circumvents the costs, on top of that the second ability is even more handy if an already strong fattie gets this ability, who for example might also have trample.

expensive yes, but think how good this is on a deathtoucher, forget trample, or flying, or other evasions, doublestrike with deathtouch kicks @$$
this plus the turntimber basalisk, and a land that turn, kill the 2 forced to block it, then find a way to stop a third creature from hitting it

@Thatmohawkguy: just because it can force one creature to block, doesn't mean it precludes any others from blocking. The opponent is still free to block with any of their other creatures as they see fit.
@Darkfury: Mage Slayer does not proc when a creature deals combat damage to an opponent; rather, it procs when a creature attacks (that is, is declared as an attacker and is not removed from combat). The only times it'll possibly attack more than one time in a turn is when an effect like Finest Hour (when a creature attacks alone, untap it and there is an additional combat phase after this one) gives another combat phase. Still, if you give it to a 7/7 with Mage Slayer it has 1 shot potential.
The card has potential, but it's very expensive for the effect. Would have personally preferred an equipment with just double strike for something like 3 to cast and 2 to equip or vice-versa.

@ darkfury the way i understand it, double strike is twice the damage, not twice the attack so it would only be triple damage :p

I really don't understand why nobody likes this card. It's absolutely amazing, but not for kor as the flavor text suggests. Put this on anything thing with trample then force their little 1/1 to block it and BAM loads of damage. It might be a little expensive but mana ramping with green just makes it so broken.
