Baloths...Rampaging...Let's just think about this for a second. That's like a bunch of house-sized boulders rolling towards you. (With CLAWS)

Simply absurd with the Zendikar lands. The flavor text SO should have been:

"Is it just me, or do those mountains have teeth?"

to go along with one of my all-time favorite flavor text cards --- Æther Charge

A one-man army to say the least. More like a one-man tank brigade, actually. Sometimes I have absolutely no board position and then suddenly introduce 20 power's worth of creatures to the battlefield thanks to this card. It's just nuts!

The second titan for green landfall decks.

WOOOOOOOOT!!! Baloths are back!

Today is the greatest day of my life! My friend gave me the promo Rampaging Baloth!! I can die happy now! (I bet you're all thinking about how pathetic my life is! :P)

I like how they're bringing back 4/4 beasts, like in Beast Attack. (Versus the 3/3 beasts Garruk makes.

I think they're trying to ensure beasts as the powerhouse of green, especially with Terra Stomper. (Versus angels, krakens, demons and dragons) But you can never be sure.

It is not overpowered.
But i also agree that Mythic Rares tend to get a unnecessarily high powerlevel nonetheless.

As mentioned before a 6/6 trampler for 6 mana is already useful by itself (although of course not worth the Mythic rare slot), yet such a card with an incredibly mana/power relation should not also get one of the most insane Landfall triggers you could think of - getting 4/4 fatties just by playing lands without being required to pay any mana or something similar seems ridiculously powerful.
Other token generating cards will require mana for each token and do not have such a great body at the same time.
Making the baloths 4/4 instead would still have easily kept this card being worth a Mythic rare, even without trample.
Or they could also have been triple-costed - which should at least have been the case with Baneslayer Angel as well, in my opinion.

Pretty sick card. Creature's out in no time. 4/5

A green creature worthy of the title of being green, love it.

Screw your stupid JTMS. Screw your stupid Tezzerets. SCREW FREAKING NET DECKING. Green stompy is one of the most potentially broken decks in standard, but everyone just NET DECKS instead. Magic isn't about proving you have enough money to spend it all on cards. It is about fun. It is also about CUSTOMIZING your deck and not simply copying others.

I apologize about the hate rant on net decking, but I for one am sick and tired of going to friday night magic, and everyone (except for a few people) running stupid thousand-dollar net decks. I do, however, enjoy crushing those decks with my worthless 20 dollar decks that use: Eternity Vessel, Terra Stomper, This card, Impaler shrike (different deck)... the list goes on of underrated and, even more so, underused cards.

At that, my dear Watson, is my opinion.

With my Eldrazi/Beast deck (built with mainly 2010, and Zendikar Block cards), this creature is amazing. I can heat out 6 lands in no time flat, since I need them for other things anyway, and I'm still cranking out lands until the end. If you combo this with Green's ability to place lands, you have an army.

This does happen to be the same color that Howl of the Nightpack and Ant Queen are. Token spam decks of this color are just too simple, but also fun.

Landfall wouldn't be considered if it weren't for this? I surely hope you don't mean to imply that landfall is in some way a useless effect. After all, with cards like Ob, Roil Elemental, and Admonition Angel, the insanity is not isolated to this card, and, really, it's kind of weak compared to some of them.
