I can't be the only one who thought this was an enchantment.

The power of this card comes from the creature type. The fact that it gets spore counters from other cards that grant spore counters, which will be in a deck that contains other cards that have spore counters.
Sure, it's pretty good by itself - but if you have Fungal bloom out (for example) - you can fog every turn if you really wanted for GGGG

A reusable Fog has to have some power, despite how slow and fragile this critter is.

This thing's best use appears to be to amass three and fog every turn? Not awesome per se...

Like so many other Fungi, this shines in combo with cards that give your Fungi extra spore counters. Use it as a defensive wall in your next Thalid theme deck.

Man, for once I really feel like I'm missing something, seeing a 3.5 average rating on what I see as a complete crap card. 2 for a 0/1 that gets me a fog every third turn? At least you can save the fog for when you need it, but... I'm honestly asking, actually. I could be missing something.
