You're right Selez. I'm rarely disappointed to start with a couple of these. Great for ruining Green's 1 toughness mana ramp creatures.
You wanna ramp, Birds of Paradise? No *I* wanna ramp! Go away! Pew pew!

I shoot your dude to make a dude. Take that, Llanowar Elves! Next turn I play Broodwarden. Suddenly, bear.

"suddenly, bear."
Possibly the greatest surprise.

The odd thing is that in limited, given the choice between this and Brood Birthing, id take the later 9 times out of 10. But in a constructed, i'd take this card over Brood Birthing any day

Yea, I really wish this cost 1. There are no one-drop token producers, and in an Eldrazi ramp deck this is competing with Nest Invader, Overgrown Battlement, or leveling up your Joraga Treespeaker at the 2-mana slot. I guess they just didn't want you to be able to get a turn 2 Hand of Emrakul

At least you can put it on a stick

Target your own Precursor Golem and his two buddies, and you have Brood Birthing at instant speed!

Turn 3 Hand of Emrakul is less of a surprise than bears? Weird...
