I was told ROE rotated. Does this look standard to you?

Great card for keeping down those dangerous Eldrazi, plus the flavor text is a laugh.

"No no no Ulamog, we really need you to stay back at base. Yes we're sure. Oh, and here's this spear, and this shield, just in case you need them. Okay then, back soon!"

Yeah, the half-pacifism is pretty sweet with all of the mega creatures running around.
I LOVE the artwork for this card... it is beyond perfect.
4/5

Also deals with Vengevine without letting it come back. In decks that don't use attacking creatures as a win-con, this card is the practically the same as removal.

Against the eldrazi annihilaters, this is awesome.

It totally saved my bacon against those dang annihilators and level uppers in my draft tonight, but anywhere else, just suffer the one extra mana and play the always-legal pacifism. This will always be viewed as a half-pacifism, but that doesn't make it bad at all. 4.5/5 in limited, but strictly worse than pacifism in constructed.

Hello? It's cheap, effective, and it gives your Grotag Seige Runner an easy target.

Kirtar's desire is strictly better assuming you do not want to use the defender keyword. if you do, then i guess this is, but how often is that going to happen?
