Anyone feel they love this card, but not if it was a dragon? Definitely feeling dragon fatigue, happy to see other big creatures getting play.

A nice card, I like it. Same playing speed of Act of Treason, that of a sorcery, and it has a nice body, that of a five five. That can kill plenty of creatures, even Air Elemental or Serra Angel. Taking an opponent's creature and attacking them with it as a bonus? Very nice, I run it in my Grixis control deck, if you don't know this card take a look.

I can see a use with this guy and Where Ancients Tread in conjunction with Sarkhan the Mad. The goal is to cast this guy, a creature or player gets a free Lava Axe or Lightning Axe to the face, you steal a fatty and smack somebody with it, then sac said fatty to Sarkhan's 2nd ability, getting another free 5 damage to throw in someone's face.

Run from the Manticore, it senses your fear, so there's no way to hide now!
It's a creature like no other before, a feral killing machine, so you should stay inside now!
Cower before the Manticore, under cover of night it will beat you 'till you're black and blue
A terrifying carnivore, you better watch your back because it's gonna make a filly out of you!
@Guntz: Don't forget Dominus of Fealty, Threaten, and throw in Bazaar Trader to keep control of those creatures you steal for one turn... FOREVER

This guy has INCREDIBLE synergy with Splinter Twin. I had someone use this combo during the pre-release and it was basically GG.
A 5/5 flyer for 6 is a pretty good deal to begin with , his ability makes it a no brainer.
At least a 4/5

hmmmm 6 for a 5/5 flyer, with act of treason, when i look back at the 7 for a 6/6 vanilla the starter decks have certainty picked up allot over the years...
he seems to be just within that range where you dont know if this is good or kind of average, he seems enticing, and he looks like a game finisher, bring down your opponents defence and swing with your other creatures, if you gave him hast he would be the bomb!
i think he is worth 4/5

I see one great use for him already: Dealing with Emrakul.
Before you shoot the idea down:
Emrakul has "pro colored spells." He can't be targeted by anything with a color that counts as a spell. Conquering Manticore's effect kicks in when he enters the battlefield.
Since the Manticore is on the field when his effect goes off, he no longer counts as a spell, meaning he can legitimately target a creature that can't be targeted by spells.
