If two players have this in a match with more than two players wouldn't it just go back between each of them?

I got this in the prerelease and I found it not hard to lvl at all.
once I got it completely leveled in 3 turns, once in 2. and that's while running 3 colors.

it is annoying when he gets removed, but when he gets going it's absolutely insane.

@Khultar
No, you get one more turn for every one turn your opponent has. When they end their turn, you get your 'extra' turn, then your 'normal' turn. Once those are ended, your opponent gets their turn again.

If your opponent Time Warps and takes and extra turn themself, you get ANOTHER turn (3rd) in between them. Since this one will trigger on the end phase and overwrite the 'after this one' part of a typical Time Warp type card.

All of this is in the 'Rulings' on this card's "Details" page.

Can't wait to copy this with Riku of Two Reflections in my Two-For-One EDH deck, since the final ability is cumulative. Taking 3 turns for every one turn my opponent has is pretty handy, gotta say.

this is...quite ridiculous. I'm not sure how good it can be in Commander, where the singleton rule certainly puts a bit of a challenge into deckbuilding, because I can't count that high. That's obviously the format where this guy just rules the fkkkn world. With 99 other cards in your deck, there is room for this if you are playing blue. there just..is. the upside is too delicious to not try, and since Magic, taken as a whole, is broken, the downside is marginalizable.

Apart from all the other crazy merits the Chronologist offers, he's removal/counter bait for 2 mana. That's gotta count for a fair bit.

I pulled this guy in my first RoE booster, you'd be surprised how fast he gets to Level 7 in a mono blue deck. huge bolt fodder though...

Protecting Lighthouse Chrono the Easy Way:

Two words - Whispersilk Cloak. Shroud and unblockable means that unless someone destroys the cloak, or wipes the entire field with Wrath of God or Planar Cleansing, you can just saunter in, hit your opponent for 3, and they can't bounce or fireball him.
