Sorry idigsleep, Read rule 702.17b a little closer. It does not stop trample.

Uncle Istvan? Is that you? You've changed colors and learned how to fly? Oh, and you're essentially a jellyfish wall now?
(Yes, I know there are slight differences in how they work. I just find it amusing.)

i was wrong it does not stop trample. sorry.
here's what i put previously
it does stop trample as you cannot assign lethal damage to it. if this meant you could still trample, then a trample creature with 2 can assign 1 to some creature with more than 2 defence, then trample over as it cannot assign lethal damage.
BUT IT WAS ALL WRONG, MY LIFE BASED ON A LIE

Pretty good wall, but why the hell Blue has Preventing Damage all of a sudden ?!
Blue prevents damage, white draws a card. What the hell? Are we living in a permanent Planar Chaos era now?

It stops deathtouch, trample, lifelink, and first strike, and it has flying. Sorry Baneslayer, you've got no protection from jellyfish.
