When you have three or more creatures, this actually starts getting pretty epic. Splashable, Spawn tokens can get you there, but that still is a lot of mana.

You must construct additional Training Grounds.

what you need in rise limited is finishers, and this guy certainly qualifies. he can end the game as soon as you get 8 mana. unlike say, the 8 drop common eldrazi who takes a few turns to win (of course the invoker needs some creatures to pump).

The artwork of this Invoker is not as cool as that one from Flamewave Invoker, but it's an interesting lategame card in drafting nonetheless.

Awesome finisher card in draft. Thanks to this, eight Eldrazi Spawn and a couple other creatures, I attacked for 53 damage and the win. FYI, he had 28 life but not enough to block with.

Not bad reletive to the cycle. Works well with the eldrazi spawn. You swing out, sac the blocked ones and use the mana to pump the unblocked for the win.

That said, this is horrible for a goblin deck. If you have 8 mana and you''re piloting gobbos, you failed a long time ago.

Way too much mana for that ability. It is nice that the ability is colorless but just +3/0 with nothing else is really poor.

Good with Soulbright Flamekin, especially if you're accelerating with Smokebraiders: Bring the activation cost down to 6 and pass out some trample while you're at it!
