It doesn't say nontoken creature, so when you devour the ooze he makes, they replace themselves! Quite impressive, and it even has +1 hand size. I wonder if I could convince my playgroup to try out vanguard irl (banning MoShoSto, due to their random nature, would probably be unfortunately necessary).
