Lord of the Pit could have gotten another great facelift when he was reintroduced in Tenth edition. People voted, and somehow the dancing demon that appeared on the card won over some very cool-looking art by Dave Alsop. Visit

Powefull if you know how to use him. You need to really control your creatures so they dont' die before they die to the Lord.

the way you use Lord of the Pit is to have a breeding pit that does "At the end of your turn, put a 0/1 black Thrull creature token into play." And you put the breeding pit out first and then every turn you just sack a 0/1 Thrull to feed the Lord of the Pit card.

This was only set at mythic rare for its classicness (damn censors!) and as an excuse to use ridiculously epic art. :3

Ok generating tokens using spells are cool but what about damage redirection?
