Smelt kinda makes this card pointless

Never want to see you again! Game has evolved since 1993 and you are not welcome.
@saltient
Hilarious comment.
But I prefer amy webbers version to this.

@TheMurderousKitten : Yes, but Smelt is strictly better in all way, even the speed.
Oh sh*t no, it can be countered by Mental Misstep.

@dragonking987: no, but strictly worse than Smash to Smithereens.
However, Krol sounds like a badass, he should be a separate card.

Strictly worse than Ancient Grudge, Smash to Smithereens, Smelt, Shattering Pulse, Fury Charm, Wear // Tear, and probably Shattering Blow. I might have forgotten a few.
Shatter might be the magic card with the highest number of strictly better cards. I'm investigating Shock and Grizzly Bear (probably the card with the most functional reprints too) right now too.

limited filler. as mentioned, in constructed play there are better alternatives. honestly, it could cost R or at least include 'it cannot be regenerated' in the text.

This is a big card in limited. In an artifact heavy set, draft this as you would Doom Blade in core set.

During the prerelease I had the enormous pleasure of using this card on my opponent's Steel Hellkite as soon as he declared it as an attacker three games in a row. A+ in my book.
