Stupid Question, but does this trigger a creature "becomes the target of a spell." Since it's already cast and a permanent, I would assume that it doesn't trigger Livewire Lash.

just pop it on Troll ascetic or Thrun if you're afraid of the ever present "dies to removal" arguement.

The card says "Remove a quest counter from Quest for the Gemblades and sacrifice it".
Do you sacrifice the counter, or do you sacrifice the enchantment?

lets see whats going for it:
Its got nice art
Its cheep
The buff is big
The buff is permanent
It only needs one counter
all in all its a very good card.
I use it in mono green commander to get Ezuri, Renegade Leader out of burn range.

I plan on using it on a slumbering dragon.
Turn 1: forest, llanowar elf or similar mana 1 drop
Turn 2: mountain, quest, dragon
turn 2.5: watch as they are afraid to enter combat until they have a removal spell.
If your opponent cooperates you can have an 8/8 flying dragon very quickly. If they don't, they lose tempo. Win/Win situation for quite cheap.

The Quests look really kooky only a few laters. I would like if R&D tried making a few more Quests, like, in Core Sets, but probably it's not something they are interested in.
Personally, I don't like how this one feels if you try to match up "MTG logic" to "DnD logic" OR "Indiana Jones logic", something most of Zendikar block was pretty good at. It feels like it's way too much Magic for too little effort, but it doesn't have enough flavor for a normal "I win" card. With the potential power I see, I would have wished it was a more exciting card visually, like Quest for Pure Flame. This feels a bit more like, oddly, a pretty common just-lying-around enchantment is good enough to make most creatures just plain monsters.
No downside, and nothing even in the flavor text speaking to the probable power of the card. I don't think it's exactly bad- more like this feels like it could be a Rare, could have Moar Epic in the art, and would almost be ok. All you'd need is t... (see all)
