This is such a weird card. Weird flavor, weird art, weird alternate cost for what it does. I'll admit I can see one or two situations where the alternate cost might come in handy, but those situations are really specific.
Overall this is just a peculiar card. With the extra {1} attached to the hardcast cost this it's not one of the many "strictly better than Shatter" cards, but I still feel like this could be useful in some very strange, very specific deck. For general use... not so much. Better off using Shattering Pulse or something in most cases.

I really love the alternate casting cost in case someone tries to drop a nasty equipment and attach it to a creature while you're tapped out. I bet this could save your life many times over.
I would love to give this card a try.

Worse than Smash to Smithereens, which itself is worse than just Smash in most cases. Sure, if you REALLY need that artifact dead, this can be useful, but come on.
