I love this card... it was very good to me in the old days against blue control decks... but in this day and age I just can't justify rating it above 2.5 - and I'm aware that even that is probably being generous. Still, it's not a bad card, and I can still see playing it in sealed and some casual or draft decks, especially multiplayer.

He's got some new game now with clash cards. And being a 1/1 guy for Red with an interesting ability, you can't go that wrong. I give him 3 points for roleplayer status.

yea i like this card. might just be the artwork i dont know. and thats the artwork of all the fallen empire versions. im just commenting on this 1 since its the 1 that everybody is commenting on. but i believe there are more uses for this card that people know. but the best one that i know is using it with Grindstone. check your opponents deck to find out if you even wanna bother spending the mana on the stone. but then again while you might not get the stone to repeat its process why wouldnt you want to mill your opponent for 2. then again if your only doing 2 then Millstone is cheaper but it only happens once. but also you could always look at your own library and mill yourself to get to better cards. but when it comes down to it more often than not seeing the cards in an opponents hand is more valuable than seeing the cards in an opponents library so for that go with Glasses of Urza. but on the other hand the ... Ironic that for lumbering brutes, the Orcish Spy is perhaps one of the best Orcs created.

I know the comment is 2 and a half years old, but where exactly do you expect to play a Fallen Empires sealed draft Styg?

T'is a very interesting red control card that works great for either sabotage or a ponder(without the draw a card).

@ LeMaK
Your comment is stupid & Indecisive. Let me show you how to play Orchish spy
Madblind Mountain, any Fetchland, any clash card, any tutor.

I would say 1 of red's best 1 drops, elegant yet simple. Look at your Library to see when that next land or bomb is coming up, or if you have a bad stack shuffle it away, or check your oppoents stuff and get ready. Poor man's sensei's divining top, if he allowed you to rearrange, it would be tooooo broken.

As is Awesome card, Awesome picture, Totally Red
