White doesn't get much in the way of ramp, and this is one of the few things that can do it. It's a great card for white decks that like to drop fat fliers. *cough* angels *cough*.

I think this cycle of lands from Masques block should have come into play with 3 counters instead of 2 to make them more useful. On the other hand, this is a nice way of accelerating white which generally doesn't get any acceleration.

Would be kinda useful given you have something akin to earthcraft, sac - WW on the turn it arrives is worth having in your deck. and mabey a Crucible of worlds for re-use.
