Good enough for reanimator, I say.
I also like how he used to just be an ultra-vanilla "MONSTAR" instead of anything sensible.

That is so inspired by the original Clash Of The Titans. The city, the kraken, the water. But it looks great! Quite pricey though. Its one of those cards you want to have for your collection as its not excactly a must have to play.

Deep-Sea Kraken seems to be a time-altered version of this - same 3 blue mana in its cost, same 6/6 body, same creature type, and same unblockability.

Tidal Kraken is unblockable.
But dammit, is expensive...
But dammit, is a SIX/SIX UNBLOCKABLE!

Love the artwork on this.
Some good ways to get this on the field is with High Tide or possibly Quest for Ula's Temple

Why not? It's printed creature type on this version may say Monster, but it's still named Tidal KRAKEN.

Doesn't really look like a kraken, but whateva. Actually, it kinda looks like art you would find in a comic, which is pretty cool. Maybe Spawn or something.
