That's a pretty bad game preserve. Every so often a bunch of animals break out... even if they're Icatian Moneychangers and Giant Sharks.

Perhaps Hunted Wumpus was depicted because this puts you in the same vulnerable position as the creature. Sure, the Wumpus is large and cheap, but your opponents might as well have more powerful creatures on their hands. However, I think you may be able to create a deck around this. Just stuff it with powerful fatties such as Verdant Force and Mossbridge Troll. You could also use Crystal Ball and/or Sensei's Divining Top to manipulate the top card of your library.
Not necessarily a bad card if you build around it, and it seems pretty fun in multiplayer. (Also, Rites of Flourishing just as dangerous as this card, if not more so, and it's being rated 4+).

Even though a Hunted Wumpus is depicted, that would be the LAST card I'd ever want to topdeck.
Not that either of these cards are particularly playable anyway.

Sure, you can build a deck around it. Personally I don't like cards that require conditions from my opponent's decks. Yes this could be very effective against a white weenie deck or something to that effect, but will be a complete dead card against a creatureless control deck.

One of the few cards that let's you see the top card of everyone's library. Lantern of Insight is preferable for that purpose, but this is still useful.

This card is fun to play. Maybe not powerful or easy to build around, but nothing beats that tenuous moment where you're not sure what is going to happen.
