@Darkcider: Sure, it's true that in the late game it might be a 4/4 for (3)BBBB. But if you have 7 swamps that don't need to be used for anything else, this card is better than a Plague Beetle, which will never be cast as something bigger than 1/1.

It's always fun to see a card I've always neglected to recognize irl on this site, then have a few guys easily convince me how wrong i was to do so :p
I always feel a bit jaded afterward.
This is better than a 3. It's hardly ever a dead draw thanks to its versatility, and that makes it pretty good right there. At least a 3.5.

decent card. one drop swampwalk for early in the game and if you draw one later, instead of being a dead draw you can make him as big as you can afford.

A 1/1 one-drop swampwalker seems almost obligatory in a new block and this one outdoes all the rest. Being a Vampire only helps. Guess this is why they keep churning out reprints of auras that turn land into swamps e.g. Evil Presence. This thing could become a big unblockable finisher at the end.

I disagree that this is the best 1-drop vampire, although it cetainly isn't bad. The kicker makes him better than the trusty plague beetle, and also give him some good power in the late game.

This is perhaps the best one-drop Vampire in the game. It's a 1/1 with swampwalk and a multikicker for late game use. Run four of these.
