Locks down your opponent's general in EDH; O-ring just sends it to the command zone.

Oblivion Ring might trigger the triggers, duh. This won't do that.

Prison Term is better I think as long as the {W}{W} isn't a problem.

Obviously it suffers in comparison to Oblivion Ring, but it's still a perfectly playable card.

I got one of these, and traded it away. Then it got reprinted, and I started thinking how cool it would be to play an old one ina tournament. Without knowing I was going to give my friend a rare for it, he tore it up when he saw the merfolk had no pants. I realized I didn't need Merfolk flashers anyway.

@Robram: actually no, she was framed by the Mercadians to negate their deal. Found in the book Mercadian Masques.
Read the books, love the flavor!

Strictly better than Pacifism, doesn't trigger leaving OR coming into play abilities like Oblivion Ring, AND is more splash-able than Prison Term. Oh, it's an uncommon too? Yes please.
