I was thinking more along the lines of a mono-blue deck putting 2 in it's side board in standard, if you have the room, and if they're using islands nail them with their own Pithing Needle while you still have 4 of your own. Basically give yourself 6 chances for Pithing Needle.

I have this funny feeling, that in standard, when Mirrodin mkII comes around this may suddenly become highly sought after. I think I'll hang on to my copy and keep an eye out for some more.

My friend photoshopped the art of this card and gave her an Indiana Jones hat and whip, and replaced the artifact she is stealing with the Gold Idol from the first movie.

so...nobody thought to use this against Caw-Blade....why? :P
It walks over the Islands they are casting Jace off of, and takes their Swords and throws them away forever. Why wasn't that good enough?

at first i though this was trash or just a sideboard card. then i realized that, even if they dont have an artifact, ur still entitled to search the person's library. =
knowing what one plays if pretty useful imo

I am getting sick of cmc 3, power 2, toughness 2 merfolks. WotC should print something like "creatures with cmc 3 gain ..." or reprint a blue version of Ashling's Prerogative (with one part gaining shroud and the other part gaining bounce it unless 1 is paid)... would be funny merfolk tribal card!!!
