Maybe one mana lower, and it would work great in a combo with Joraga Warcaller and Quest for the Gemblades, but pretty good for a common.

psychokid, I really, really hope you're trolling. otherwise, you're an idiot. not too many artifact destroyers in green? green has historically been the top artifact/enchantment killer, the most recognizable being naturalize. Wow.
As for this card, I like it. It's pseudo removal and creature pump. green needs removal terribly.

while this may be expensive, it IS legal you know? the other cards pointed out to be better arent legal exept the turntimber basilisk, but what if you dont have one of those? then what do you do? wish you had this card.what if your opponent has out a platium angel and you have an all green deck? not very many artifact destroyers in there. thats where this is useful

It's a Hunt Down + Battlegrowth. Since the last one is an instant, Feral Contest should have either been an instant too or should have cost 1 less to play.
