I think it's pretty solid. If you're applying the beatdown as you should be your opponents creatures should be reserved for chump blocking anyhow.

An actual reason to play Horn of Ramos, so in your blue deck you can have a big cheap beater with no downside.

Not a great card, but a fun card to build a deck around for multiplayer. There are plenty of non-forest ways to produce (eg Tree of Tales, Llanowar Reborn, etc). There are plenty of ways to turn your opponents lands into forests (eg Mind Bend, Convincing Mirage, Dream Thrush etc). There are some ways to exploit those forests (Jedit Ojanen of Efrava, Erhnam Djinn). Not a card I would play competitively, but it makes a real fun junk deck for multiplayer.

this is a solid card, and its rating (currently 1.5?!) is far too low. There are more cards that can produce without requiring use of a forest than I can count, and an aggressive green deck might not even care about the drawback anyway.

You don't have to run forests to play him nowadays... Or you could also put like just 2 forests in your whole deck and give them to your opponent with that one dryad.
Still not a great card, and if you drop even one forest on your side it kinda f.ucks you over.

Willow Satyr is a Satyr.
This, though... Mercadian Masques had a weird little mini-theme of taking random beasts (to judge by art) and naming them after traditional fantasy creatures that they didn't resemble in the least. Look at Horned Troll for an even greater disparity between what it's named and what the art appears to be showing... WotC even gave it a cheeky flavour text (attributed to Squee) as if to say "This is our game - who are you to question our creative department?"
This guy was only a satyr in name, until presumably someone decided it was more sensible to make the creature type(s) intuitive. I am all in favour of making the game more intuitive, but I don't understand why on earth WotC decided to turn standard fantasy creature tropes on their head for Masques. Changing things just for the sake of making changes doesn't strike me as particularly novel.
As for the creature itself - really effici... (see all)

" ALL creatures gain forestwalk" i want to put some more formatting on ALL because that means if your opponent has creatures they have forestwalk as well, although i understand that a 5/4 for 4 is tempting go look else ware. i'm going to take the assumption that you have a forest (since he has in his mana cost) so that means everything your opponent has is unblock able.

Hey, look, something that outdoes Aysen Highway in crappitude. While Aysen Highway makes your opponent's guys unblockable iff it also makes your guys unblockable, this guy makes your opponent's guys unblockable and sometimes makes yours unblockable. On a 4/4 body for four mana in the creature color! Why didn't this see play before?
Oh wait, yeah, all the other cards in Mercadian Masques, even Security Detail, are better than this.
Also, satyr? That's not a satyr. A satyr is a man with horns, goat legs, a flute, and a serious case of priapism.

You're playing green, right? You want a vanilla fatty for a low cost, right? Use Leatherback Baloth instead. He won't make your opponent's creatures unblockable.
