The art is incredible (and strangely remniscent of the game Ceaser II,) but no, it's not a 'cool' card. It takes three turns to yield even a single mana, and red of all colours doesn't have that kind of time to waste.

thats actually pretty cool, I mean there are many times in my casual ring where people dont use all there mana, and when used strategically it can reeally help ramp up your tempo

Art like this card and High Market are two of the reasons that I loved Mercadian Masques. It was like Ravnica before Ravnica.

Mercadian Bazaar, Saprazzan Cove, Subterranean Hangar, Fountain of Cho, and the green one...

May I ask for a version of this kind of storage land that comes into battlefield untapped, or something like this:
Tap: Add {1}
Tap: Add 1 counter
{1}: Remove X counters...
However, I quite like this version nonetheless. It can be abused with proliferate or some untap effect like Tidewater Minion or Ral Zarek (it's a kind of effect that seems quite uncommon, actually...)
