It's fairly costed, especially by Legends standards. Act of Aggression can be used in similar fashion, but it costs 
and two Phyrexian red. It's more versatile than this, though.

Rather clunky, though you can block with the stolen creature.
It did, however, begin the trend of temporary creature stealing in red, so that's of note.

Act's {3}{(R/P)}{(R/P)} makes it far better. Plus it can be used almost anytime. And the creature gains haste.

A surprisingly good card. I'd be happy to see this reprinted. Many times, it's a 2-for-1. When it's not, it's almost always a 1-for-1, which is just fine.
