This card is so much fun. Especially because of how popular Lure decks were at the time. Add fog or regenerate and you just took all their creatures.

Style point for equipping him with Scythe of the Wretched

I love the artwork. Unfortunately, I've never really found a use for the card.

Yeah, the art here is way cool. Too bad the card isn't as awesome.

Rage Combo = Lure, Gaseous Form, sealed with a Diplomatic Immunity. All someone else's creatures, all yours, all the time.

Lure/regenerating works just fine, because regeneration doesn't take a creature out of combat until it would have been destroyed. By that time, creatures have dealt combat damage and thus have been declared as blockers for The Wretched, and are susceptible to his ability.

Instead of trying to make your opponent block him with something like Lure, you can instead just make it too costly for your opponent to leave him unblocked with something like Quietus Spike or Snake-Cult Initiation.
Also, Christopher Rush is a god.

The name is cool, the artwork is cool but the rest is not.

It was one of my favorite cards until they made it a demon. It should have been a horror or a spirit.

Lure/Regenerate, anyone?
Still, even by itself, this is one cool card. And it's a Demon, so that counts for something.
