Rampage is a fun and somewhat under-used abilitiy, although Hunding's Casting Cost is certainly high for what you get. Still though, compared to some of the other U/W legends, he is still playable.

Overcosted with a flaky ability that doesn't seem right in blue and white at all... though Rampage was scattered all over the place in Legends and if the "color pie" didn't really exist back then.
Despite all of this, he still makes Kasmir, the Lone Wolf look like a Chimney Imp.

The "color pie" has always existed in some form; it's just that, in the early game, it tended to focus more on feel and flavor than on mechanics. Thus, for instance, direct damage done by fire was red, but direct damage done by psychic power, or by a wizard on the battlefield, was blue. But of course, Rampage doesn't really fit U/W that way, either, since they're supposed to be calm, methodical colors.

This is such a strange card. It is a UW 5/4 with Rampage. How does that make any sense? In any case, I like the Legends Legends, simply because they are decent budget ways to make EDH decks. If I am playing on Magic Online, at least I can find a UW legend for cheap and put a deck together.
As for Rampage, it is a fascinating ability, but it is really depressing how easily it is for yoru opponent to avoid. For that reason, I have tried to avoid designing abilities that rely entirely on what your opponent does. It really leads to non-interactive games, and it is just frustrating with a card like this.

Rampage 1 is so rarely useless that you're probably better off playing with Phyrexian Hulk as your craw wurm replacement.
