@ TheSuperbloop this is a good cheep card (monetary wise) in two color decks. 3 colorless lets you get 2 mana of any color for 1 colorless when you need it + a card draw. It can add a splash of a color you're missing while your trying to draw the right lands.

Not BAD, atleast you get a card.

you know, I know 'great with X reducer effects' arguments aren't encouraged, since you might as well say 'great with Black Lotus' and have done with it--
but honestly, I could see myself running 4x this, 4x Sol Ring in a casual deck, and feel safe running only basic lands. this speaks more to the mighty power of The Ring than to the value of this card, but you have to admit- that is a tempting effect to try to get use out of- mutiple colored mana, card draw, and an artifact going to the graveyard?
I can't believe it's not broken.

I remember buying a ton of Alliances packs and feeling like I pulled one of these in every one. I hated it, and I've never used them. Just a waste of a slot in a deck.

4 colorless mana total and a card to get two of any mana and a card.
Not worth it, IMHO.

It's temporary mana-accel that draws you a card AND color fixes; that has to be OK in some decks. Drop T3 in black, cantrip into a Bloodgift demon; who will start drawing you cards (which is great!)
It can give you tempo if you control it; but you only want to see 1 at a time; so I'd say a 2-of in a deck that wants to try it out.
