Dungrove Elder used to be my pick for 'Most Strictly Better Than Predecessor' card ever- vs. Wood Elemental.
Maze of Ith should actually take that place, as it so unbelievably strictly better than Sorrow's Path, is just.....WOW.
These two cards are hilariously similar for being so wildly far apart:
Both from the Dark
I can't read either of them
Both of them should be banned to keep new players safe
-Ban Maze of Ith to keep them safe from their opponent
-Ban Sorrow's Path to keep them safe from themselves

A truly amazing card, and the best thing we got out of The Dark.
(Though Ball Lightning is pretty great, too... just not with one of these on the other side of the board!)
Both this and Diamond Valley also tend to produce mana in my decks,
thanks to Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth ;-)

Knight of the Relinquary makes this a nice 1 of in a lot of legacy decks.
how fancy does natural ordering to progenitus feel NAUGH! muahahahaha
Won't work. Progenitus has protection from everything and as a result Maze of Ith cannot target him.
