Back in the early days of Magic, this card had some use to fill out a red deck. Nowadays, not so much.

Blandness, thy name is Fire Elemental. Well, no, that's not quite right. Glory Seeker beats you in that department, as well as a host of green and white weenies. Wow...that must really suck, I mean...you're not even memorable for being bland! You're just a lame creature! I'm sorry, Fire Elemental. It must really suck to be you.

In all seriousness, there are better things to spend five mana on than a 5/4 vanilla creature.
