1 mana better than Fireball without the flexibility and only 2 mana away from Searing WInd?

A lot more interesting than that stupid Lava Axe. At least this card can damage an opponent OR a creature, so you actually will sit there for a moment and think, hmmm... what's the best play here? Instead of Lava Axe, which amounts to Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap - Derpy Derp, you take 5 damage! Derp Derpy Derp.

@DrJack: Like that's so much worse than "Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, Tap, - you take 7 damage"? You seem to have some serious deep-seated issues with Lava Axe for some reason. Seriously, cut it a break. It's not the worst card in the world.

This, on the other hand...
