I find it odd that this is the only dual land that is not found in alpha. I wonder if it was accidentally left out of alpha print runs.

This is the only dual land where the multicolor box doesn't hurt my eyes.

Can you believe that some Dual lands are rated around 4.2?
They all deserve, In my opinion, just under 5. Like this one. Here are the others.
Underground Sea
Savannah
Tundra
Tropical Island
Taiga
Scrubland
Bayou
Plateau
Badlands
Yeah, Volcanic islands art and text box looks cool but they all deserve better.

The first dual land I ever got, in a set of 3 all from revised. Also one of the earliest Magic cards I got along with Crusade. It's been the basis of my red blue decks for years and I don't see that changing any time soon. 5/5.

Sadly I'll most likely never own one of these or any of the True Duel Lands, but oh well. birds of paradise come from there and I have them... my little piece of this paradisaical volcano island

3/27/2014: The day this card became MORE expensive than the dual land we all knew as the most expensive, Underground Sea. Thankfully it is back in second....by a penny ($285 to $284.99)
