If you play this card on an indestructible artifact such as Blightsteel Colossus, would you still gain life even though the artifact cannot be destroyed. It seems to me that the destroy effect would still happen, it just wouldn't be effective.

MUST HAVE in Scars Block limited for white decks. Doesn't help with poison counters, but its good for slowing down metalcraft decks early on, or smashing big artifacts in the late game. And if your desperate enough, you have the option of nuking one of your own artifacts to regain life.
