With proper use, this is simply great, especially after crippling your opponent by killing most of their creatures.
With improper use, this will simply make everyone hate you.

Instead of having reminder text that implies the player is a moron, the standard text should have mentioned that the lands being destroyed are all lands IN PLAY. Many newcomers to Magic have actually discarded lands from their hands in response to this spell, having made the reasonable assumption that "destroy all lands" means destroy ALL LANDS. Alpha/Beta/Unlimited text was really the most clear and elegant wording! Darnit, Wizards.

The Portal set was made to teach people how to play MTG so that's why it says "includes your lands.

This + Faith's Reward should be pretty easy to pull off together, especially in mono white, or GW, such as my lifegain. Although I prefer Catastrophe because it can choose creatures instead at the sacrifice of a 2 more mana. I like chaotic spells, and any destroy all is typically a decent one in my book.
