This card won me some competetive games back in zen-scars standard. I ran a etched monstrosity ramp deck that used this as a finisher (cmon, 20/20 monster and 10/11 birds) that saved my butt against obliterator vampires (that game suuuucked but i still won)

Friend who owns this card says "X" for this card includes the net power of a creature plus its equipment. His opponents think X means the power printed on the creature card. Who's right?

Along the lines of what badmalloc said, this is more susceptible to removal than Overrun (or even Predatory Rampage). If they cast removal on your fatty in response, this might be reduced to a +1/+1 bonus.

Scute mob combo and token creatures, boost scute mob till its super strong and use overwhelming Stampede and all your creatures all attack at once and BOOM!!

when used correctly this card can allow you to swing for over 100 damage in a token deck
just combo it up with big token like grove of the guardian or creature reliant card like crusader of odric.
I once had a mexican standoff with my token deck and my friend angel deck, we both have 11 angel token, he had sunblast angel and herald of war with 2 conjurer's closet with 50 lives
I on the other hand only have moonsilver spear and one white/green 8/8 elemental token (aside from the angel token). none of us dared to attack
I drew this card, then I buffed up my elemental token with selesnya charm making him a 10/10, then played overwhelming stampede, all my creature get +10/+10.
(14 power x 11 angel token) + 20 from the elemental = 164 damage

Combos with Zektar Shrine Expedition. Just play any creatures on turns 1, 3, and 4, then pop the Shrine on turn 5, cast this, and swing for at least 35 damage, probably more.
