@shinhawk: Actually, Crusade is a white version of bad moon. Honor of the Pure only gives bonuses to creatures you control, as opposed to Bad Moon giving a bonus to all black creatures, which makes this one a bit better.

love this
Turn 1: Elite Vanguard
Turn 2: Honor of the Pure
Turn 3: Veteran Swordsmith
Turn 4: Ranger of Eos
Turn 5: 2 Elite Vanguards and Veteran Armorsmith

or in extended

Turn 3: Preeminent Captain or Field Marshal
Turn 4: attack with Preeminent Captain to throw down Captain of the Watch; then cast Elspeth, the Knight Errant

So uh... has anyone taken a look at the new elspeth?
Pretty ridiculous with her second effect

It's not like bad moon because bad moon affects all black creatures, this just affects white creatures you control. Bad Moon is like Crusade, in that regard.

Dang... If it cost WW instead of 1W, it might have made it in my Springjack Shepherd token deck. And I don't want to run Crusade, because my opponents get the bonus as well. Well, I guess I'm going to have to stick with Glorious Anthem and Martial's Anthem.

I'm just glad that Wizards gives white a large card selection when choosing the type of pump for your deck :)

Not strictly better than Crusade. Crusade can help your buddies out, too, not just guys you control.

Honor of the Pure...and Priests of Norn..that doesn't make sense in terms of flavour..
