No, no, this card is really very much too good. Take my word for it, you'd rather not play against a deck that proves it.

Beyond broken. Back when artifact lands were legal in Standard, you can get about 7 artifacts on the board by turn two.

Made me wonder if they've even playtested it at all, since in the games we played Cranial Plating was, on average, a repeatable +7/+0 for a mere three mana. But then I guess they made Skullclamp.

Yeah, It's broken, it can turn an ornithopter into a killing machine, especially in an affinity deck

A sterling example of a card that completely outstrips all the others in its cycle. Poor Healer's Headdress. You must have a raging inferiority complex.

I won't call this broken, but it's pretty stupid. At first glance you go, "this seems ok--the power is great, but the lack of evasion balances it out". Then you do a double-take: "hey wait a minute...you can switch it to another creature after blockers are declared...that doesn't seem right...

Errata should say, "Equipped creature is now a Nim."

I don't really get how steel plates on something's head increases its power so much, unless it's a headbutt-oriented creature. Anyway, great card, and probably one of the strongest pieces of equipment in the game, especially at common.
