I wonder if this wasn't reprinted for M11 in order to prevent someone tutoring up a Wurmcoil Engine or some other powerful Scars artifact. I, for one, would welcome it.

I thought Tinker Mage was good, but after seeing this card...

@anderbena: Tinker allows you to put the artifact directly into play, whereas this card compels you to reveal it and put it in hand. In some cases, Duress, Coercion, and other "you choose" discard cards would own this card.
