Terrifying as a proxy. I've lost many a game to a card this card was impersonating.

I read in one of Mark Rosewater's articles that everyone agrees that this cycle of artifacts is crap, but they keep reprinting it so that new players can learn that on their own. LAME.

Wizards stop printing these...........................as uncommons.

Would be awesome in pauper if they were common.

I think the cycle should have an effect that relates to the color. Red could deal one damage to a player or creature, Blue could draw a card or mill a card, White could gain life, Green could get a 0/1 Plant/Saproling and Black could have a player lose life or discard. Right now the life gain doesn't fit with the flavour.

Please stop printing this cycle, WotC. It's a waste of cards.

This card is, okay. But it rarely seems to gain you that much life. Even if it did, why? You're playing black. I'd rather the opponent lose life every time I play a black spell.

Hi, I'm Sanguine Bond. I'm the only reason to use one of these.

These cards are fairly poor, enough so that adding a cantrip wouldn't hurt.
Paradise Plume serves a dual purpose, which is kind of like adding a cantrip, but comes at a hefty cost.

Sure one on the field won't do much, but how about 2?
I've ***ed a lot of people off by gaining upwards of 8 life on turn 5 onwards.

And the thing is the only reason i even put it in so was that i could get Phylactery Lich out by turn 3.
