One of the workarounds for crystalline sliver, as well as burn protection.

The problem with it is that there are much better slivers for toughness pump that, in many cases, also pump up power. There's plated, sinew, watcher, muscle, might, spectral, and even the sliver legion. All of which I'd run sooner than this.

even if you pump it up 2/2 slivers can't survive a bolt..took this one and barbed sliver out of the duel decks right away.
