In typical sliver fashion: "A 2/2 shroud for 2, not a bad deal... wait, to all my creatures, wtf were you thinking?" Humble Budoka and Vintara Snapper cry themselves to sleep at night.

It's a great Sliver. The "you can't target your Slivers"- part botheres me sometimes, it's antsliver overlord but that's about anything I could say bad about this one.

@mix: They'll still be destroyed. Wrath of God and other such spells don't target. You can generally tell a spell or ability targets since it'll actually say "target" in the card text. (Examples: Lightning Bolt, Doom Blade, Giant Growth.) Also, Auras and Equipment target in order to enchant or equip, respectively. However, like most other spells in the game, you can counter Wrath-style effects. And if you're using this sliver, you're likely already in blue, so packing a few counterspells could help (if you particularly fear effects like Wrath, Negate might be a good choice).

As for this Sliver, I've not really played with it yet...or slivers in general for that matter even though I really want to. But it seems like it'd be solid even without fellow slivers, being a 2/2 for WhiteBlue with shroud that can mess with a sliver deck's plans. Though I bet it'd really shine in a sliver... (see all)

Play this sliver early to protect your slivers. Then play a sliver that gives other slivers "Sacrifice this creature:" to break the shroud limitation.

This trick applies to other slivers that grant slivers a situational bonus.

A staple Sliver deck card.
Since this guy has shroud itself, your opponent will effectively only be able to get rid of your Slivers by using mass removal spells, e.g. board hosers like Wrath of God.

But of course it does not suit into any Sliver deck - shroud also causes a lot of nonbos (or "bombos", as MaGo calls them).
You sometimes want be able to target your Slivers as well, e.g. when playing with Crypt Sliver or Magma Sliver.
In that case you should consider exchanging your Crystallines for Opaline Slivers.

I'm still looking forward to a troll shroud Sliver which can solve that problem ;)

Much of the deck was built around this card, and it keeps you rather well protected.

WhiteBlue to give all of your Slivers/Changelings Shroud? Put at least 2 of these guys in a deck and you will be almost untouchable.
